    Our brand and packaging work for Te Horo jam has just been awarded gold in the Electra Business of the Year Awards!   • Typography workshops by Nicola Pennington

    Following postgraduate studies in Basel under world renowned Swiss typographer Wolfgang Weingart, Nicola is giving a number of workshops to pass on what she learnt. Part one will cover basic exercises designed to explore optical typographic relationships.   • New store opened for Paper Bag Princess

    Just in time for this years onslaught of cash strapped students, our favourite little op shop has opened its doors in a new spot at 166 Cuba street. This was a fun little project for us – giving us the chance to get away from the computer and get our hands dirty with a bit of illustration. The design follows our initial work on the brand and store graphics in the old Leftbank lane shop, using our recreated story of the Paper Bag Princess.

  • HotHouse at the Dowse

    Courtesy of Mark Pennington, a new permanent exhibit has been launched at the Dowse celebrating all the innovative ideas that come out of New Zealand. Everything from Flax fibre surfboards, wind and stab proof merino fabrics and strap-on jet packs are displayed and updated every few months. I can see this really growing.   • Te Horo jams now on the shelves

    Our packaging and branding is doing its business for Kapiti orchard and jam maker, Stanmore farm with sales well beyond expectations. Rave reviews are also coming in. We particularly like this one from Logan Browns Al Brown: “All of them brilliant. They all get the big tick from me. Savvy onto it packaging. Great branding, looks wholesome fresh and inviting. Screams eat me!” Credit to strategist Gus Van De Roer and of course the client for making this happen. Go out and buy some!

  • SmartPayroll website launched

    We launched the new SmartPayroll brand and website in July last year. Now, around 6 months on, the results are really starting to show the value of a well designed and functional site. Sales enquires from the  site  have more than doubled and it’s helping to streamline their sales process. We’re looking forward to see more great results coming from SmartPayroll.
