Stanmore Farm is a family run orchard located in Te Horo on the Kapiti coast. For 15 years they were producing jam for Anathoths. As Anathoth moved elsewhere (including overseas) for the supply of their fruit, Stanmore Farm took up the challenge of breaking into the competitive jam market that Anathoths dominated. Working with Stanmore Farm and strategist Gus Van De Roer, we created a brand that took ownership of this area of the Kapiti coast and drew on the reputation and trust in homegrown New Zealand fruit. The solution is Te Horo jam. A pure New Zealand product using 100% New Zealand fruit and designed to stand apart from Anathoths by communicating what people know and love about New Zealand. We drew on quality, freshness and well recognised New Zealand design cues. The result? Te Horo is getting rave reviews and most importantly is selling well beyond expectations.
